When you're new to network marketing

It feels awkward.

I've been at the Lake all week with my family.  We have a boat and we go wake boarding and wake surfing.

If you were to come out and see me you'd think wake surfing is easy.  Actually, it is easy for me.

But, if you tried it, you'd probably discover it isn't as easy as it looks.  It would take you some time to "get your groove".  Once you get up and get used to the feeling of wake surfing, you too will make it look easy.

It's the getting up that's the hard part.

Same thing in network marketing.  If you've never signed someone up before it is a lot harder FOR YOU then it looks.  The key is just getting your first few sign ups.  Then you'll get the feeling and soon it will become easy for you.

This principle holds true for anything new you try in life.

That's why most people don't like trying new things.  It's the first stage they hate.  97% of people never get past the first stage.

But, you'll never get anywhere in life if you don't try something new.  So, get used to the awkward phase.  Get through it.

All I can say is when you experience the feeling of wake surfing you'll be happy you kept trying.

And when you experience the feeling of getting checks every month in network marketing you'll be happy you kept trying.
